Hatchet-read it

In class, I read Hatchet. I have been thinking about the author's message. We had to write a reading response to the book in testing conditions. Here are my thoughts about the book.

                       Hatchet Novel Response Lucas

In class I have been reading a book about Hatchet and that there is a boy named Brian that gets lost in the forest with nothing but a few things.

Hatchet the book is mostly about a boy Brian that is Thirteen years old Brian Robeson is on his way to visit his father when the plane crashes. Brian is lost out in the middle of the Canadian wilderness with only his windbreaker and the hatchet his mother gave him. Brian was afraid of what else could happen to him.

I think the author’s message is that we need to be more independent and not always rely on our parents. We need to know survival skills in case we go somewhere where we need to know how to do survival skills. like how Brian gets attacked by a moose and smashed around

When Brian got hit by a tornado all of his things got messed up and destroyed he felt like he was finished, dun for but he got back up and tried to rebuild everything.

Lastly, I thought the book was good to read and that it had interesting events like when he was eventing the bow and arrow and that he didn't give up on hunting, building, and rebuilding.
